The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning. But is this adventure a Hazzard for longtime fans of the show? A film of stultifying stupidity disguised as down-home folksiness and derivative thrills, The Beginning is about as reprehensible as entertainment comes, even in our decreasingly intelligent times; suffice it to say that when a preponderance of shoe-horned nudity can't redeem an otherwise worthless movie, the filmmakers are doing something spectacularly wrong. While the real rationale remains somewhat obscure why these three cousins get together - I mean, why not just brothers and sisters, and where are all of their parents? Naturally, Uncle Jesse Willie Nelson, evidently high when he read the casting contract conspires with them to make mischief at Hogg's expense. But when Hogg hauls Jesse off to the clink, the Duke boys have to take matters into their own hands courtesy their iconic charger, The General Lee, in a last-ditch race to save the Duke farm and offer Hogg a much-needed comeuppance.

The censored Theatrical Cut was compared to the uncut Unrated Edition. The series lasted seven seasons with episodes. But this time he has to deal with some other problems first, as the evil Boss Hogg wants get the estate of the Dukes into his hands.
